Continuing Legal Education
All California attorneys must submit minimum compliance with continuing legal education requirements. Irrespective of the area of practice that the individual attorney practices in, the State Bar of California requires all attorneys to keep up on the ever changing laws and issues in our state.
While my practice is solely limited to plaintiffs personal injury cases, which encompasses injuries incurred due to medical malpractice, car accidents, slip and falls, defective products, motorcycle accidents, bicycle accidents, or bike accidents, etc. I am required to submit compliance to the State Bar every 3 years that I have "kept up" on the law through classes, lectures, and continued study.
Continuing legal education requirements is one more tool to offer the public assurance that an attorney licensed to practice law in California has continually kept abreast of ongoing changes to insure that clients receive the best legal service possible.
